    Mr. Guevara:

Please do not decimate the Wild Horse Herds of McCullough Peaks.

The current bait trap slated for 08/14 through 08/31/23 will reduce these herds to an unstainable healthy population. There are only 179 of these wild horses left on 120344 acres, which is 670 acres per horse. This is not overpopulation of wild horses. There is some other reason behind their removal.

American’s do not want these horses removed from this range, in fact from many ranges. There are wild horses being removed from an HMA in Nevada, in the HEAT OF THE SUMMER. And in a short period, less than a week 11 horses have died, 5 of them were foals, others broke their necks trying to escape; and one stallion managed to escape, but broke a leg in the process and continued to try to escape (running on 3 legs) for 35 MINUTES BEING CHASED BY A HELICOPTER, before being put down. This treatment of any living being is not acceptable, especially by the American Taxpayer.

Please reconsider the current plan and remove it from the planned action. We are begging you.

I understand controlling herd population. BLM as we know, not doing a good job. I don’t really get why it can’t be done humanly. I’m not extremely smart, but I’m sure it has to do with money, laziness, or both. How sad these beautiful creatures have to pay for greedy, lazy humans.

This cannot go forward. The blm has got to stop this barbaric treatment of our national treasure of wild horses
They have survived and will continue to survive in their God given environment if only allowed to. Government has got to stop terrorizing, maiming & killing these beautiful family’s of horses
