    Good evening,
I am working with a donkey for the first time ever. I have the task of teaching him (Hank) to put his foot on. a box. So far I have got him to come when I call him, and take a carrot from me. He does not like the halter and definitely does not like a lead on the halter. Can you give me some pointers on how to get him to put his foot on the box? I appreciate your time and effort to help me.

If you email me at meredith@luckythreeranch.com, I can send you detailed information about how to get your donkey to do anything you would like him to do. I will answer you promptly with a very easy approach. Using carrots, apples and other random “treats” is not the best way to get him to comply.
