What inspired you to become a Boots and Bling sponsor?
To learn more about the programming of AAE so that we can inspire planned giving for donors who care about equine rescue. Such visionary gifts will keep the work of AAE sustainable. PCF is a great resource for donors who wish to create a charitable plan that addresses all the causes and charities most important to them and their families.
What do you want people to know about your business/organization?
Placer Community Foundation unites people, ideas, and resources to address community challenges and create opportunities. We do this through gathering knowledge, convening stakeholders, addressing systemic needs, inspiring giving, and marshalling diverse resources for the greatest impact.
My love of all animals and nature. And knowing the success of All About Equine and their excellent care of the horses and their strong and diligent adoption program.
What about your sponsored horse makes him/her special to you?
I’ve sponsored a few of the horses over the years. They all are special to me and I am filled with happiness and gratitude when they find their new and loving owners/caretakers.
What does it mean to know your monthly sponsorship helps give horses in need the care and second chances they deserve?
It means that I am helping in a very important and meaningul mission in a way that I am able to personally. Having many horses myself I am very familiar with the great financial costs and much work in taking care of horses. I know how money contributions translate directly and quickly into the ability to provide not only for the basic needs of feed and housing, farrier and vet, but also to the extra and special things that make so much difference to the special needs horses.
