Midnight deadline: Your Legal Fund gift is still pending

We have a lot to be proud of this year.

So far this year, our legal team has helped overturn the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Adoption Incentive Program (AIP), which was funneling hundreds of wild horses and burros to slaughter, stopped the BLM’s largest planned wild horse roundup in history, and secured necessary federal protections against slaughter for our wild herds.

These landmark victories show the kind of work your donations make possible — holding the BLM accountable and securing lasting protections for these majestic animals.

But swift, effective legal action requires resources. With multiple lawsuits underway — and more battles certain to come — we must be ready to act at a moment’s notice.

We’re still $3,567 away from our legal fund goal. With just a few hours to go, will you make a donation before midnight?

Wild horses and burros cannot defend themselves, which is why we have to be their voice. And Meredith, we know that when we stand together and sue to protect them, we win.

It’s why our Legal Team has a nearly 90% success rate, and why our work in 2025 has brought with it some of the biggest legal victories our organization has ever seen.
