Thank you so much for the heartfelt words. Dad was an inspiration to so many people and touched so many lives. A true Cowboy legend. We brought him back home to Loma Rica,CA where it all started, Where he raised 5+ kids. We laid him to rest there next to my Grandpa and Granny. There was over 200 people, family friends and his “Mule family” that attended the Celebration of Life. He will be Missed by all for a very long time. Thank you again

I’m sorry for your families loss. I have many fond memories from my childhood. Bishop, Camp Fire West… to many to mention. Von and my dad, Don Johnson, created lots of great memories. May they both rest in peace.

Thank you all for you kind words. It means A lot to us knowing what he mint to everyone in the mule community. My papa is my hero and always will be. I looked up to him and I know a lot of you did to. To me he is the perfect role model to look up to. I just wish Papa was still here to meet his great granddaughter that was born 6 months after his passing. He may be gone but never forgotten cuz Everyone that known him will carry on his memories and in those memories He will carry on living.
