Thank you to everyone who has donated. We are still short about $187 towards the matching funds. Even after we are blessed with the matching funds, we still will need more help to complete the barn roof and work on securing enough hay for the winter.
The truck needs to be serviced and also needs brakes. It is just a part of life but always seems to come at the most difficult times. Much less expensive to maintain the equipment than let it break down.
I realize times are really tough for many of you out there, myself included. However, Chilly Pepper still needs more help to make sure we get the hay we need BEFORE the prices go up again. Every day the price of diesel rises and folks are buying what little hay is available, and that means it will cost less if we purchase now instead of later.
We still need funds to get that barn roof finished. I am working on as many adoptions as I can, but as most folks know, horses are being dumped at an alarming rate. I am having to say no everyday until we have enough hay and get some of these kids adopted.
Please don’t give up on us now. Even though times are exceedingly tough right now, we still need to keep saving lives and taking care of the horses you have saved. Thank You so much from all of the critters at Chilly Pepper!
Winter appears to be coming fast and hard. We are already seeing nights in the 30’s. Let’s keep these kids safe, warm and well fed.
PLEASE NOTE – Paypal shows Wild Horses in Need, as we are dba- Chilly Pepper if you would like to help these horses
