| Caring for 50–60 horses at any given time comes with significant responsibility, and significant cost. Feed, veterinary care, vaccinations, farrier care, and dental work are all part of the daily commitment we make to every horse in our care. Add to that the horses who require specialized treatments, diagnostics, medications, rehabilitation, and specialized feed, and the need becomes even greater.
That’s why tonight matters.
Whether you are sitting in the Folsom Community Center or supporting from home, every single donation makes a difference. Every gift helps ensure these horses receive the care, safety, healing, and love they deserve.
Here are just a few examples of what your support can provide:
· $5,000 helps cover most of a hay load that feeds 50–60 horses for 4–6 weeks
· $2,500 helps cover a portion of monthly veterinary care
· $1,000 helps pay for a load of senior pellets
· $500 helps cover the typical intake costs for one horse, including transport, dental care, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, farrier care, and feed
· $250 helps support the cost of castration
· $100 helps cover one month of care for a horse
