A Big Weekend Ahead!
The following is from All About Equine Animal Rescue:

Some updates are too exciting not to share a little early.
In the very near future, four of our horses will be heading out to begin their next chapters in two wonderful homes.
As we prepare to say send them off to their forevers, we’re reminded again that these transitions don’t happen overnight, and they don’t happen alone. It takes time, care, and a community willing to stand behind every step of the process.
There’s something special about seeing horses not just find homes, but find the right homes, together.
Soon, two pairs of horses will head home, and we couldn’t be more excited for what lies ahead.
BELLES + SKEETER

Belles and Skeeter very kind and easy-going mid-teens mare who came to us underweight. She’s been steadily gaining strength and confidence with care.

Skeeter, a stray who went unclaimed, started out a bit unsure of the world, but day by day, his confidence has grown, and his sweet, playful personality has really come through.
Now, these two are heading home together. They are ready to keep building on the progress they’ve made with their new family.
MILLIE + TORI

Millie came to AAE with six other horses from a neglect case. She was thin, sore, and struggling, with hooves that needed extensive rehabilitation. Her recovery hasn’t been easy, but with time, patience, and a lot of care, she’s more comfortable, more relaxed, and starting to enjoy life again.

Tori, who came from the same group, has come a long way, as well. With good nutrition, she’s gained weight, and her hooves also needed extensive hoof rehab. She also recovered from a pasture injury.
This duo has been part of the same story from the beginning, and now, they’ll get to continue it side by side in their new home.
Getting a horse from intake to adoption takes a steady investment of time, care, and resources. Fortunately, our Boots and Bling event is a big help!
