Sadly, the horses were in much worse shape than I thought. Audrey needed emergency surgery today!!! and that is what happened this morning. I was concerned, as we were still around $2000 short even before the surgery. I had to go on pure Faith, and said YES to the surgery.
Several hours later, the phone rang. One of our donors had seen we were short the $2000+ for the rescue and said she WILL MATCH EVERY PENNY up to $1000. Any funds donated after (2:24) on Thursday afternoon will be matched up to $1000. Woohooo! Prayers answered.
So with her amazing matching funds, we can at least reach the funds needed to have responsibly taken on these horses. What a beautiful blessing for these horses y’all are!
Please help us get that match! Trojan also got to see Doc, so now we wait on his bloodwork.
Thank you everyone who has donated so far, and NOW, let’s get those matching funds. Audrey may need another surgery. Doc surgically removed the screw that was backing out and causing the infection, and hopefully she will not need another one. At this time, it is unknown. Miracle also needs eye removal surgery. Jax is healing well, although it will continue to take more time.
