| When Jinks arrived at AAE summer 2025 following a law enforcement seizure, he was an older stallion in need of some TLC and a fresh start. Underweight and overdue for basic care, he quickly showed us his gentle nature, even if he needed a little time to learn the basics like haltering and handling.
With consistency, kindness, and the care he deserved (including gelding, dental and farrier work, vaccines, and a microchip), Jinks blossomed into the sweet, easygoing horse we knew he could be. |

| And now, the best part… Jinks was adopted this past weekend! He’s in his new home, and we couldn’t be happier for this deserving guy and his second chance with his new mom and his new pal. Thank you, Karen, for opening your heart and home to Jinks. |

| Individual tickets to Boots and Bling 2026 will go on sale next month on March 20, 2026. Consider gathering your friends, family, and co-workers and purchase a table for eight (8) so you can all sit together and show your support, together. |
| HELP BY DONATING AN AUCTION ITEM! |
| Another great way to show your support for horses is by donating an auction item. We’re welcoming items and experiences for our silent auction. Auction donations play a critical role in funding rescue, rehabilitation, and ongoing care for the horses. Whether it’s a product, service, getaway, or one-of-a-kind experience, your contribution helps turn community generosity into real impact. Every item helps us stretch every dollar further for the horses in our are.
If you would like to support horses-in-need with an auction item donation, please contact Sharon, and she’ll welcome your gift! |
| WINTER MAGIC AT THE RESCUE! |

| We had a rare winter surprise at the barn this past week: snow! It’s not something we see often, and the horses weren’t quite sure what to make of the white blanket covering their world. There were plenty of curious sniffs, cautious steps, and wide-eyed looks all around. Confusing for them, maybe, but absolutely breathtaking for us. It was one of those quiet, magical mornings we won’t forget anytime soon. Thank you, Mother Nature! |

| THANK YOU TO THE WORK DAY VOLUNTEERS! |
| A big thanks to the folks who made time to volunteer at our February work day. Because of their hard work, two more shelters and paddocks are just about done! This will help provide improved housing for two to four horses. They may be horses with special diets or horses with special needs. Either way, we’re grateful to have a couple more spaces we can dedicate to a couple more special horses.
Our next project day is coming up March 7. Come on out! Contact Mike for more information or sign-up to lend a hand. If you’d lke to be part of making another project for horses possible, we’d love to have your help! |
