These horses and burros need your help now. I am currently on location and need funds to help save starved and neglected burros and horses. There are 59 burros and several horses at this site who need immediate help. I was called by a friend of mine who is spearheading this rescue. Look at those hooves. It is heartbreaking and we need to raise funds for this rescue, transport, vetting and to feed and care for them.
Above is a photo of the donkey “Cork Screw”‘s feet. As you can see, they are in horrific condition. Silver, the grey shown above is emaciated and needs special care and feed. He also has a pretty bad injury to his left foot and will need treatment, vet care and imaging done.
I will go into more detail as I have time. Right now I have a 2nd trailer headed this way and we need to raise funds now. I already needed to order hay, but now it is of the utmost urgency. PLEASE HELP us save these horses and donkeys and buy another load of hay. Pretty much all of the burros have feet similar to this.
