TIGGER HAS SPENT ALL WINTER WORKING TO BECOME
BETTER BEHAVED!!! Been ridden by a lot of different
people and has become more confident out by herself.
Id really like to find a good home for Tigger, she's
about 13.2, carries my weight fine but I need something
larger for long distance racxing. She is 15 years old (acts like shes 5), coggins negative, had her teeth floated last October, feet great
condition. She trailers very well, allows her feet to be
handled, and is learning about good ground manners
and how to be confident in different situations. Easy to
catch, will greet you with a soft bray when you come
out. Advanced beginner could ride her after her winter
of training. Has a lot of interesting behaviors which can
be turned into tricks like wave, smile, count. Im sure
she would be fine as a pasture pet but I think this little
lady would be happier with a job. Would consider a
trade for a younger mule that would be a good
endurance candidate or make me an offer. |

"Gus" is 12 years old, 57" tall. We have had him for 3 years. He is the gentlest, friendliest jack around. He expects to be petted every day. Get him out of a pasture of mares, drop the lead rope and trim all 4 feet without any problem. Never offered to bite or kick anyone. We've had 6 mule colts out of him, and are expecting 3 more in June. From 14 hand quarter horses up to 16.2 hand draft mares, and he breeds them all. All of his colts walk right up to us as soon as they stand up, and are in your pocket from then on. We have an Application for Registry for the AMJR that we got from the previous owners, but we never sent it in. It says he was foaled 08-21-1996, and the breeder was Don Townley in Buchanan, TN. |

Drop dead gorgeous, sweet as can possibly be "jenny" Jack. Has had pack saddle and a kids saddle on him, but never ridden. He's 46" of straight legs, teeth, deep hips and chest. And he's wide... and his biggest asset, Is his better then text book perfect head & ears. He's as kind and gentle as you can ask for, he's safe around kids and will take treats ever so carefully. He's a whistle call donkey and will come running to the gate to meet you when you call for him. He's an extreme guard donkey and will kill Pumas, Javalinas and any dog,(coyote or domestic).
He has 2 flaws, he's very scared to give his feet up. If you are his person and have his trust he'll do anything for you, But he will NOT let a stranger take his feet. And he will not cover mares. He was allowed to run with and cover jennies at a year old. If it doesn't have long ears and a little narrow behind, he doesn't want anything to do with it. He is how ever a 100% color producer on Jennies, and he will yeild his gait to the jenny's genetics. I have lots of pictures of him and some his babies. |
